Jason Faulkner Camden
– Founder & Craftsman
In a small backyard workshop on the Central Coast of New South Wales, where the scent of molten silver, burnished copper, and ground shell fills the air, Bone & Wood was born.
Jason Faulkner Camden is a hands-on maker with a why not, give it a go attitude. Always curious and resourceful, he’s never afraid to tackle any challenge or try something new, whether it’s renovating, building, or fixing. A former firefighter, beekeeper, and surfer, Jason has spent years restoring boats, renovating homes, repairing old tools, and bringing new life to antiques.

experimentation & curiosity
Drawn to hands-on work, nature, and the quiet satisfaction of making something from nothing, his love for experimentation, sparked by deep curiosity - has guided everything from innovative builds to product, furniture, machinery, and tool restoration.
What started as a way to pass time after a hip replacement and arthritis, combined with an investigation into natural remedies and the healing properties of copper, grew into a deep thirst to keep creating and innovating with his hands. Working in his workshop, Jason began making jewellery, a practice that soon caught the attention of friends, family, and eventually the wider Manly market community.

CREATION & INNOVATION
Supported by those close to him, he took the leap in 2024 to bring his designs to Manly Markets, where customers were intrigued and drawn to the unique story each piece holds.
Jason showed up every weekend with a fold-out table, a few trays of handmade rings, and a deep belief in doing things differently.
